Volleyball Recap: Northwestern Area Finds Playoff Glory Versus Aberdeen Christian

Northwestern Area had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They didn't even let the Aberdeen Christian Knights on the board on Thursday, marking the Wildcats' second-straight 3-0 shutout. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Leading Northwestern Area to victory were Tara Blachford and Sophia Troske. Blachford had 12 digs and three assists, while Troske had four digs. That's the most assists Blachford has posted since back in October.
