Basketball Game Preview: West Mesquite Wranglers vs. Royse City Bulldogs + How To Watch

The West Mesquite Wranglers will square off against the Royse City Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, West Mesquite lost to Mesquite on the road by a 50-34 margin. The Wranglers haven't had much luck with the Skeeters recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, Royse City was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 49-45 to Palo Duro. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

West Mesquite's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Royse City, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

West Mesquite took a serious blow against Royse City in their previous matchup back in January of 2022, falling 65-18. Can the Wranglers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
