Hopkinton has gone 10-0 against Holliston recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Hopkinton Hillers will venture away from home to take on the Holliston Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Hopkinton is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest defeat since January 10th on Tuesday. They fell just short of Dedham by a score of 53-51.

Meanwhile, Holliston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 66-55 to Westwood. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 230th, while the Wolverines are ranked 73rd).

Holliston's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Hopkinton, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 10-5.

Hopkinton didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Holliston when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 40-36 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hopkinton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
