Basketball Recap: Garden City Takes a Loss

After flying high against Annapolis last Friday, Garden City came back down to earth. The Garden City Cougars had to suffer through a 68-26 loss at the hands of the Huron Chiefs. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Chiefs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Garden City's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Huron, they pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Garden City will challenge Plymouth Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Huron, they will take on Trenton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Huron is facing Trenton at the right time seeing as Trenton is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
