Softball Recap: Agoura Chargers vs. Granada Hills Charter Highlanders
On Thursday, the Agoura Chargers came up short against the Granada Hills Charter Highlanders and fell 10-6.
Quinn Tamburro made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 3-for-3. What's more, she posted two runs, the most she's had since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Amaya Del Olmo, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.
Agoura now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Granada Hills Charter, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
Coming up, Agoura will square off against Camarillo at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Granada Hills Charter, they will take on Irvine in a tournament on Saturday. Irvine has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something Granada Hills Charter will no doubt try to take advantage of.
