Softball Recap: Bunn Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Bunn had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Louisburg Warriors. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Bunn let Paige Wood and Brooke Harrah run wild. Wood went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Harrah went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI Harrah has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Maycey Buchanan, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Bunn hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in 12 consecutive contests.

Bunn's record is now 13-3. As for Louisburg, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Bunn didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-2 win against Farmville Central on the 22nd. As for Louisburg, they have also already played their next game, a 9-8 loss against Wake Prep Academy on the 23rd.
