Soccer Game Preview: Jacksonville vs. Texas

The Jacksonville Fightin' Indians will face off against the Texas Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Texas is facing Jacksonville at the wrong time: Jacksonville suffered their first home loss of the season on Tuesday and they're likely out for redemption. They came up short against the Lions, falling 5-1. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Fightin' Indians struggled afterwards.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Texas). They never let Marshall get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Tigers needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Having lost for the first time this season, Jacksonville fell to 13-1. As for Texas, their win bumped their record up to 2-9.

Jacksonville took their victory against Texas in their previous meeting back in February by a conclusive 4-0. Will Jacksonville repeat their success, or does Texas have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
