The Ridgeview Mustangs will take on the Cissna Park Timberwolves at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Ridgeview is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

Ridgeview hadn't beaten Fisher on the road since April 25, 2018 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Mustangs were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Bunnies. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Mustangs have posted against the Bunnies since May 15, 2021.

The team relied heavily on Landon Ludwig, who went 2-for-4 with five RBI and one double. That double was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Grice, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Cissna Park's offense. They lost 16-0 to Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin on Friday. The Timberwolves haven't had much luck with the Blue Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Cissna Park's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Ridgeview, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.

Everything went Ridgeview's way against Cissna Park when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Ridgeview made off with an 18-12 win. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Timberwolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
