Basketball Recap: Central Jaguars vs. Jay Royals
Central lost against Jay back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Central Jaguars received a blow as they fell 65-49 to the Jay Royals. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Central still got an impressive performance from Sophia Harold, who posted 13 points and four steals. Harold is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played. Autumn Boutwell was another key player, putting up 16 points and three steals.
Jay can attribute much of their success to Adyson Adams, who had 17 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave Adams a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hattie Locklin, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 boards.
Central's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Jay, they pushed their record up to 17-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-38 win against Chipley on the 31st. Jay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
