Softball Recap: Elkton Takes a Loss

Elkton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 19-0 to the Harford Tech Cobras. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Golden Elks were not able to get on the board.

Elkton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Harford Tech, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Elkton will face off against rival North East at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Harford Tech is set to square off against their familiar foe Bel Air at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cobras 3.9, the Bobcats 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
