Waubonsie Valley came tearing into Wednesday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Naperville Central Redhawks 75-59. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Redhawks are ranked 298th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Waubonsie Valley pushed their record up to 29-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points over those games. As for Naperville Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 18 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season.
