Licking Valley waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies by a score of 6-1. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 5-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Licking Valley's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Johnstown-Monroe, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Licking Valley will square off against rival Zanesville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Johnstown-Monroe is set to challenge their familiar foe Utica at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
