The Coweta Tigers will square off against the Bartlesville Bruins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Coweta is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.
Coweta is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Memorial 19-1 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Alex Crawford was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple and two RBI.
In other pitching news, Brayden Replogle looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.
Back at the plate, Josh McDermott was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2. He has become a key player for Coweta: the team is 6-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jackson Fankhauser, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Bartlesville waltzed into their contest on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Hornets.
Like Coweta, Bartlesville also got a great game from a two-way player: Hunter Shea. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Shea was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Damien Niko, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Cooper Swaim was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.
Bartlesville pushed their record up to 12-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Coweta, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.
Bartlesville's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Coweta hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .327. It's a different story for Bartlesville, though, as they've only averaged .247. Will they be able to contain Coweta's hitters?
Coweta took their win against Bartlesville in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 13-1 score. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bruins turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
