Volleyball Game Preview: Elk Grove Grenadiers vs. Palatine Pirates + How To Watch

Elk Grove hasn't had much luck against Palatine recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Grenadiers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pirates at 6:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Elk Grove came up short against Schaumburg and fell 2-0.

While Elk Grove ultimately came up short, they really made Schaumburg work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Palatine waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Palatine took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10.

Palatine's victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Elk Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-14.
