Baseball Recap: West Orange Takes a Loss

West Orange and Hagerty squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but West Orange had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 6-5. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Huskies: they've now lost three in a row.

West Orange saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Angel Martinez, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

West Orange's defeat dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Hagerty, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-3-1.

While West Orange had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
