Volleyball Recap: Mullins Marion Christian Comes Up Short

If Mullins Marion Christian was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Columbus Christian Academy on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cavaliers fell 3-1 to the Antioch Christian Academy Gators on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cavaliers of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Mullins Marion Christian started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-18, 25-15, 25-16.

Mullins Marion Christian dropped their record down to 9-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Antioch Christian Academy, their record now sits at 5-6.
