Volleyball Recap: Tuslaw Takes a Loss

Tuslaw lost against Louisville back in August of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Leopards. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-27, 25-13, 25-21.

Kamdyn Dibell paced Tuslaw's offense, picking up eight kills. Dibell got some help from Jadelynn Weisel and her 23 assists. Jemma Weisel controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Leading Louisville to victory were Karis Miglich and Emma Kroah. Miglich had 11 digs and one assist, while Kroah had 11 digs. That's the most digs Kroah has posted over her last 11 contests. Acy Thorne also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Tuslaw's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Louisville, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-6.

Tuslaw has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Northwest on the 30th. As for Louisville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Fairless on the 27th.
