Softball Recap: Sickles Takes a Loss

After soaring to 20 runs the game before, Sickles was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell 6-1 to the East Bay Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gryphons of the 5-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2018.

Sickles has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. The win got East Bay back to even at 3-3.

Coincidentally, Sickles and East Bay will both be playing Palm Harbor University the next time they take the field. East Bay will head out to face Palm Harbor University at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Sickles will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
