Volleyball Recap: Kylee Campbell and Kori Hudson Secure Win for Platt + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Platt, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the New Britain Golden Hurricanes on Monday. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Panthers yet this season.

Leading Platt to victory were Kori Hudson and Kylee Campbell. Hudson had 12 digs and two assists, while Campbell had eight digs and one assist. That's the most digs Campbell has posted over her last five matchups.

New Britain's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mia Zayas, who had 14 digs. Zayas is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Platt's victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10. As for New Britain, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Platt didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Rocky Hill on the 7th. As for New Britain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Middletown on the 7th.
