Meanwhile, Lane Tech faced Naperville North in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Champions fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 2-1. Like Barrington, Lane Tech also had to let a streak go: they had won nine straight, but that streak is no more.

Lane Tech's loss dropped their record down to 22-3-2. As for Barrington, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-2-2.
