Volleyball Recap: Prescott Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Prescott had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They put the hurt on the Mingus Marauders with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Bella Abt paced Prescott's offense, picking up 14 kills. Abt got some help from Kate Wright and her 30 assists. Wright was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Prescott's win bumped their record up to 21-14. As for Mingus, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-17 record this season.

Prescott has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Flagstaff on the 29th. Mingus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
