Basketball Game Preview: Camden Hills Windjammers vs. Brewer Witches

Camden Hills and Brewer are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2017, but not for long. The Camden Hills Windjammers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Brewer Witches at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Brewer took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Camden Hills, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Camden Hills earned a 60-47 victory over Nokomis.

Meanwhile, Brewer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 61-44 to Cony. While losing is never fun, the Witches can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Rams are ranked third).

Camden Hills has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points per game. As for Brewer, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Camden Hills took their win against Brewer in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 54-31. Does Camden Hills have another victory up their sleeve, or will Brewer turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
