Basketball Recap: Landstown Comes Up Short

Landstown and South Lakes squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Landstown had to settle for second. They took a 56-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Lakes Seahawks. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Landstown's loss dropped their record down to 21-4. As for South Lakes, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season.

Landstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Lakes, they will square off against Woodson at 6:30 p.m. on March 15th. Woodson will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something South Lakes surely won't give up without a fight.
