Lakeland had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Tampa Bay HEAT.

Lakeland never let Tampa Bay HEAT on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 26-24.

Mya Lindsey paced Lakeland's offense, picking up nine kills. Lindsey got some help from Kara Marshall and her 13 assists. Zoe Haverkamp and Caleigh Sladek kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Lakeland now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Tampa Bay HEAT, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-2.

Lakeland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Manatee on the 13th. As for Tampa Bay HEAT, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Saint Stephen's Episcopal on the 13th.
