Baseball Recap: Briarcrest Christian Extends Winning Streak to Four

While Briarcrest Christian put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for St. Benedict at Auburndale. Briarcrest Christian blew past St. Benedict at Auburndale 11-0. The victory was nothing new for the Saints as they're now sitting on four straight.

Phinn Waters tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Taylor Brady was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Clayton Speck, who scored three runs and stole a base.
