Softball Recap: Pinkston Wins Going Away Against Conrad

Pinkston made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Conrad, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Pinkston was the clear victor by a 16-3 margin over Conrad on Saturday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Vikings considering their two-run performance the game before.

Pinkston has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.3 runs over those games. Conrad's defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 10-8.

Coming up, Pinkston will host North Dallas at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Dallas will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Pinkston surely won't give up without a fight. As for Conrad, they will venture away from home to challenge Wilmer-Hutchins at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Conrad is facing Wilmer-Hutchins at the right time seeing as Wilmer-Hutchins is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
