Flag Football Recap: Piner Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Piner lost against Petaluma back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Prospectors fell 32-25 to the Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Prospectors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 611th, while the Trojans are ranked 260th).

This is the second loss in a row for Piner and nudges their season record down to 1-9. As for Petaluma, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Piner is set to face off against their familiar foe Rancho Cotate at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Petaluma will square off against rival Analy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
