The Bagdad Sultans will take on the Maryvale Prep Matador at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Bagdad is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Kingman Academy just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 14-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Sultans have suffered since March 14th.

Anna Williams was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was her first of the season.

Meanwhile, Maryvale Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 20-2 to Leading Edge Academy - GEC. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Matador couldn't push the score so high this time.

Maryvale Prep saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aliyah Caudillo, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-1.

Maryvale Prep's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Bagdad, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.
