Even though the Coolidge Colts scored an imposing 57 points on Saturday, the Fairfax Christian Cardinals still came out on top. Everything went Fairfax Christian's way against Coolidge as Fairfax Christian made off with a 80-57 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Fairfax Christian.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fairfax Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alex Mostashari, who scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds. Isaiah Skinn was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 8 assists and 6 rebounds.
Coolidge's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Quintin Cooper, who scored 23 points along with 8 rebounds, and Elimeen Carter who scored 6 points along with 8 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Eric Turner, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds.
Even though they lost, Coolidge were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fairfax Christian only pulled down 23.
Fairfax Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Coolidge, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
