Volleyball Recap: Brandeis Broncos vs. Harlan Hawks

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Brandeis can now relate to. They came up short against the Harlan Hawks on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Broncos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2021.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 25-20.

Lola Isaeff paced Brandeis' offense, picking up 11 kills. Isaeff got some help from Tagan Williams and her 11 assists.

Among those leading the charge was Brooklyn Vigil, who had nine digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Brandeis has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 20-25 record this season. As for Harlan, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 37-5.

Brandeis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Harlan, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Dripping Springs on the 8th.
