Preview: Johnson-Brock Eagles vs. Falls City Tigers
The Johnson-Brock Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falls City Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Johnson-Brock will be strutting in after a win while Falls City will be coming in after a loss.
Last Tuesday, Johnson-Brock humbled Palmyra with a 62-23 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Johnson-Brock.
Johnson-Brock's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brody Koehler led the charge by scoring 14 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Camden Dalinghaus, who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Falls City kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were dealt a 66-39 defeat at the hands of Syracuse. Falls City has struggled against Syracuse recently, as their contest on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Johnson-Brock's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Palmyra's defeat dropped them down to 0-3.
