Soccer Recap: Sheridan Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hot Springs last Thursday, Sheridan came back down to earth. The Yellowjackets came up short against the Maumelle Hornets on Monday, falling 5-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Sheridan haven't been shut out since back in March.

The defeat snapped Sheridan's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-2-1 record. As for Maumelle, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-3-1 record this season.

Sheridan will be playing at home against Lake Hamilton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Maumelle, they will take on Greenbrier at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
