First Baptist Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They skirted past the Burns Sci-Tech Eagles 59-57. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Crusaders as it put an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Burns Sci-Tech dropped their record down to 0-11 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

First Baptist Christian Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against Burns Sci-Tech: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
