Baseball Recap: Sherwood Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

Sherwood came out on top against Archie on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fourth inning. The Marksmen walked away with a 12-8 victory over the Whirlwinds. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-4 back in April.

Sherwood pushed their record up to 11-14 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Archie, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Coming up, Sherwood will take on Appleton City at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Archie, they will face off against Montrose at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
