Baseball Recap: Longview Comes Up Short

Longview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Pearce Mustangs.

Longview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pearce, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Longview has already played their next game, a 13-0 loss against Boswell on the 21st. As for Pearce, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Hallsville on the 21st.
