Basketball Game Preview: Moon Valley Rockets vs. Shadow Mountain Matadors

The Moon Valley Rockets will square off against the Shadow Mountain Matadors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Moon Valley is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

Last Wednesday, Moon Valley was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 47-42 to Greenway.

Meanwhile, Shadow Mountain came into Wednesday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past Goldwater with a 47-43 victory on Wednesday.

Moon Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Shadow Mountain, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-9.

Moon Valley came up short against Shadow Mountain in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 65-57. Can Moon Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
