Basketball Recap: St. Edward Takes a Loss + How To Watch

St. Edward was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 51-32 fall against the Illinois Math & Science Academy Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-49 two weeks ago.

St. Edward now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Illinois Math & Science Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

St. Edward will take on Waukegan in a holiday battle at 1:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Illinois Math & Science Academy, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Marian Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on January 12, 2026.
