Basketball Recap: Albuquerque Academy Piles Up the Points Against Menaul

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Albuquerque Academy on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Menaul Panthers out of the water with a 63-20 final score. With the Chargers ahead 47-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Addie Spratley had an outrageously good game as she went 8 of 12 en route to 16 points along with three steals and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Skarsgard, who posted six points and three steals.

Albuquerque Academy pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 22.3 points. As for Menaul, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Menaul is facing Santa Rosa at the right time seeing as Santa Rosa is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
