Whiting has gone a perfect 10-0 against Calumet New Tech recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Oilers will host the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Whiting had been on a four-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Highland put an end to it on Saturday. The Oilers lost 17-1 to the Trojans. The matchup marked the Oilers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Whiting saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Arianna Vianello, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Calumet New Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Griffith, falling 15-0.

Having lost for the first time this season, Whiting fell to 4-1. As for Calumet New Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
