Basketball Recap: Carmel Comes Up Short

Carmel lost against Hamilton Southeastern back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Carmel Greyhounds fell to the Hamilton Southeastern Royals 47-42. While losing is never fun, the Greyhounds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Royals are ranked first).

Carmel's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Hamilton Southeastern, the win keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hamilton Southeastern beat Carmel by a score of 47-42 on Friday.
