It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Torrey Pines can now relate to. They came up short against the Rancho Bernardo Broncos on Friday, falling 6-0. The Falcons have struggled against the Broncos recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Torrey Pines saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camden Nishnick, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

Torrey Pines' loss dropped their record down to 13-17. As for Rancho Bernardo, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-12 record this season.
