Recap: Archbishop Hoban Knights vs. Howland Tigers
The Archbishop Hoban Knights put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 66-52 win over Howland. That's another feather in the cap for Archbishop Hoban, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Howland's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alyssa Massucci, who scored 16 points. Massucci scored a full 30.8% of Howland's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gia Hoso, who scored 15 points.
Archbishop Hoban's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Howland, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
Archbishop Hoban's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Gilmour Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 9th. Gilmour Academy is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. Howland will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Ursuline at 7:00 p.m. on December 13th.
