Volleyball Recap: Weimar Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Weimar faced off against Columbus on Friday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Cardinals. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14.

Weimar now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Columbus, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Coincidentally, Weimar and Columbus will both be playing Schulenburg the next time they take the court. The Cardinals will host the Shorthorns at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
