Basketball Game Preview: Greater Houlton Christian Academy vs. Old Town Coyotes

Greater Houlton Christian Academy will take on the Old Town Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Old Town took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Greater Houlton Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Greater Houlton Christian Academy turned things around against Orono on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Riots by a score of 54-47. The win was all the more spectacular given Greater Houlton Christian Academy's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while Orono is ranked 22nd).

Meanwhile, Old Town ended up a good deal behind Mount Desert Island on Tuesday and lost 67-52.

Old Town's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Greater Houlton Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Greater Houlton Christian Academy might still be hurting after the 51-30 loss they got from Old Town when the teams last played back in January of 2016. Can Greater Houlton Christian Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
