Basketball Recap: Covina Comes Up Short

Covina lost against Wilson back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Covina Colts fell just short of the Wilson Wildcats by a score of 47-44.

Wilson can attribute much of their success to Jett Hung, who posted 15 points. That's the most points Hung has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Tyler Wong, who scored seven points and three steals.

Covina's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Wilson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-12.

Covina does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wilson, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-36 victory against San Jacinto Leadership Academy on the 12th.
