Mountain Brook waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Pell City Panthers. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Leading Mountain Brook to victory were Sullivan Lell and Analei Dutton. Lell had five digs and three aces, while Dutton had three digs and three aces.

Mountain Brook's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Pell City, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Mountain Brook has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Brandon on the 23rd. As for Pell City, they will host Lincoln at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
