Hackett extended their winning streak to six on Tuesday, bumping them up to 6-3. Everything went their way against the Hector Wildcats as they made off with a 15-8 win. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by seven runs or more this season.

As for Hector, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games.

For Hector's part, Drew Newport made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that Newport has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of David Warren, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Coming up, Hackett will challenge Westside at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hector, they will take on Wonderview at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
