Baseball Game Preview: Plainville Blue Devils vs. Middletown Blue Dragons

The Plainville Blue Devils will square off against the Middletown Blue Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Plainville and nine for Middletown.

On Thursday, Plainville came up short against Guilford and fell 5-2.

Meanwhile, Middletown also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to New Britain by a score of 6-2.

Nicco Nardi made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season. Jake Haniewski was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one RBI.

Middletown's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Plainville, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
