Basketball Game Preview: Methacton Warriors vs. Spring-Ford Rams

The Methacton Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the Spring-Ford Rams at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Methacton is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They enjoyed a cozy 71-52 win over Boyertown on Tuesday. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while the Bears are ranked 283rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Spring-Ford entered their tilt with Perkiomen Valley on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Vikings 58-42. That 16 point margin sets a new team best for the Rams this season.

The victory got Methacton back to even at 3-3. As for Spring-Ford, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Everything went Methacton's way against Spring-Ford in their previous meeting back in January, as Methacton made off with a 71-49 victory. Will Methacton repeat their success, or does Spring-Ford have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
