Volleyball Recap: Hubbard Takes a Loss

Hubbard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kerens Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on August 12th.

Hubbard was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-23.

Hubbard's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Kerens, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-8.

Hubbard's road trip will continue as they head out to face Kemp at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Kerens, they will take on Rice at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
